Ryan contemplated suicide after divorce

ANI: Apparently, Hollywood actor, Ryan Phillippe considered committing suicide following the breakdown of his seven-year marriage to Reese Witherspoon. The Crash star suffered a breakdown when the actress filed for divorce in 2006 citing irreconcilable differences.

"After the divorce I was a physical wreck. I wanted to die. I was ready to kill myself," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying. "I was not taking care of myself at all. I would wake up and cry and vomit," he said.

The actor had two children Ava, seven, and three-year-old Deacon with Witherspoon.
