Hayek to act in her romantic comedy flick

Washington (ANI): Oscar-winning actress Salma Hayek is all set to produce and act in an untitled romantic comedy film for Walt Disney Pictures.

She will produce the film with Jose Tamez, her partner at a production company called Ventanarosa.

The film has been written by scribes Ed Decter and John Strauss, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

The story follows a conservative doctor who gets the surprise of his life when he learns that the ex-boyfriend of his fiancee, to be played by Hayek, is an international Latin superstar who has come to Los Angeles to win her back.

Lou Anne Brickhouse is overseeing the project for Disney.

Hayek is also lending her voice for Disney's 'South of the Border'.
