London
(ANI):
Actor
Samuel
L.
Jackson
is
puzzled
over
rumours
of
his
involvement
Jon
Favreau"s
film
based
on
the
comic
book
saga
Iron
Man.
The
film
stars
Robert
Downey
Jr
and
Gwyneth
Paltrow
but
apparently
the
Pulp
Fiction
star
is
waiting
for
the
director"s
call
to
be
a
part
of
the
project.
"Everybody
keeps
saying,
'Aren't
you
in
Iron
Man?'
and
I
keep
going,
'Look,
the
guy
in
the
comic
looks
just
like
me
and
if
they
do
cast
it
and
they
don't
cast
me,
there's
gonna
be
some
problems,'
so
I'm
looking
forward
to
that." Contact
music
quoted,
Jackson
as
saying.
Jackson
who
had
a
lukewarm
response
to
his
latest
flick
'Black
Snake
Moan"
is
also
very
keen
to
play
a
cameo
in
the
new
'Indiana
Jones"
film.
The
58-
year-old
actor
has
a
string
of
hits
like
Pulp
Fiction
for
which
he
had
earned
an
Academy
Award
Nomination,
Jurassic
Park
and
Deep
Blue
Sea.
He
blames
studio
bosses
for
the
lukewarm
response
his
movie
'Black
Snake
Moan"
received
at
the
box
office.
The
cinema
release
of
the
film,
which
co-stars
Christina
Ricci
and
Justin
Timberlake,
was
a
flop.
The
Pulp
Fiction
star
thinks
that
the
film
could
not
become
a
blockbuster
because
it
was
not
marketed
in
a
proper
manner,
when
it
released
last
year.
Jackson,
however,
is
content
that
the
movie
is
findings
a
new
audience
on
DVD.
"The
movie
didn't
make
a
lot
of
money
but
people
discovered
it
on
DVD
and
found
out
that
it's
not
really
a
movie
about
me
making
Christina
Ricci
my
slave,"
Contactmusic
quoted
him
as
saying.
"They
(studio
bosses)
sort
of
made
it
look
like
she
was
my
little
sex
slave;
she
had
a
little
torn
shirt
on
and
a
big
chain...
It
didn't
quite
work
out
as
well
as
we
wanted
it
to,"
he
added.
Although
the
film
failed
to
win
accolades,
Jackson
still
hopes
to
bag
a
Grammy
Award
for
the
six
tunes
he
performed
on
the
film's
soundtrack.
