Surprise wedding for Steve Martin

Hollywood funnyman Steve Martin got hitched to his longtime love Anne Stringfield in a surprise ceremony at his Los Angeles home on Saturday. Martin had been dating 35 year old Stringfield, a New Yorker journalist since 2002.

The 61-year-old actor--who is famous for films like 'Father of the Bride' and 'Bowfinger' wore an Inspector Clouseau moustache for the occasion, says People.com.

The guest list comprising of 75 people, including movie legends Tom Hanks and Diane Keaton, believed they were actually in a party, until the bride appeared in a stunning Vera Wang gown.

This is the second trip down the aisle for the actor who will be seen in the upcoming 'Pink Panther remake sequel.' He was earlier married to his 'L.A. Story' costar Victoria Tennant.
