Tobey
Maguire
didn't
leave
his
daughter's
side
for
three
weeks
after
she
was
born.
The
Spider-Man
3
actor
says
his
life
has
changed
dramatically
since
his
jewellery
maker
fiancee
Jennifer
Meyer
gave
birth
to
the
couple's
first
child,
Ruby,
last
November.
Tobey,
31,
said:
"I
have
other
aspects
in
my
life
now.
I
have
a
little
daughter
and
that
changes
things
tremendously.
"I
didn't
do
anything
for
three
weeks
after
she
was
born,
literally
didn't
go
anywhere
or
leave
where
she
was
for
more
than
an
hour.
Then
for
six
weeks
I
wouldn't
do
anything
that
meant
leaving
her
for
more
than
a
few
hours."
Last
month,
Tobey
took
Jennifer
and
Ruby
along
to
the
world
premiere
of
Spider-Man
3
in
Tokyo,
Japan.
The
actor
took
his
family
along
to
the
glitzy
event
because
he
couldn't
bear
to
be
apart
from
them.
He
said:
"I
love
being
a
dad.
I
didn't
want
to
be
away
from
them
and
I
didn't
want
my
fiancee
Jen
to
miss
it.
It's
a
pretty
eventful
moment
and
I
wanted
to
be
with
them.
I
haven't
been
away
for
a
night
yet."
The
superhero
movie,
which
is
based
on
the
Marvel
comic
book
series,
opens
worldwide
on
May
4.
