William
Shatner
has
yet
not
bagged
any
deal
to
reprise
his
role
of
Captain
James
T.
Kirk
in
'Star
Trek
XI',
but
grapevine
is
strong
that
he
may
play
a
cameo
in
the
flick.
Speculations
about
Shatner's
return
in
the
planned
film
had
been
doing
the
rounds
ever
since
it
was
announced
that
Leonard
Nimoy
had
been
signed
to
reprise
Mr.
Spock.
Jason
Turner
of
the
'Bring
Back
Kirk
Campaign'
has
now
revealed
that
the
producers
have
not
concluded
any
such
agreement
with
Shatner.
He,
however,
hinted
that
director
J.J.
Abrams,
who
is
also
writing
the
script,
was
contemplating
writing
a
cameo
for
Shatner.
"As
of
now,
no
deal
is
in
place,
but
it
would
be
great," the
New
York
Post
quoted
Turner
as
saying.
