Actress Alicia Silverstone, the heroine of Batman and Robin is denied rumours about her withdrawal from How I met your Mother, a TV show in which she is appearing against Singer Britney Spears. Spears plays a receptionist/secretary in an upcoming episode of the show and insiders claim that her boss was supposed to be the big screen's one time Bat girl.

But Silverstone's PRO Elizabeth insisted the actress' links to the TV show ended long before Britney's name was even announced by its producers. But at the same time she told that that had nothing to do with Britney. "Alicia was in discussions to do the show but the deal never went through. This happens all the time in Hollywood." said Elizabeth.

But now, as said by Alicia, she will play a secretary to actor Josh Radnor's character Ted when the episode airs later this year.
