Washington (ANI): Actress Alison Lohman will replace Ellen Page in Sam Raimi's horror film "Drag Me to Hell." The 'Juno" star dropped out of the supernatural thriller due to scheduling conflicts. The pic was supposed to start filming on March 17 in Los Angeles but has now been postponed until March 31, reports Variety.

According to reports, Page bowed out of the Ghost House Pictures and Mandate Pictures project as the delay was clashing with two other projects on Page's diary - the roller-derby comedy "Whip It!" and the thriller "Peacock."

Producers were on the lookout for another actress and their hunt stopped on the 28-year-old Lohman, best known for portraying a younger-than-her-years character in "White Oleander." Lohman, whose credits include "Matchstick Men" and "Big Fish," recently appeared in Robert Zemeckis' "Beowulf" and "Things We Lost in the Fire."
