Anthea Turner to star in feminist stage play

London (ANI): Television presenter Anthea Turner is set to star in explicit feminist stage play The Vagina Monologues. The 48-year-old star will fill in for Corrie actress Wendi Peters, who will miss the start of a new tour at short notice, for two weeks.

'The Perfect Housewife' host will then be travelling to Coventry along with co-stars Jennifer Ellison and Jenny Eclair, before handing it over to Wendi, reports The Sun.

The show opens on January 19 for a week at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking, Surrey. Anthea and husband Grant Bovey are said to have lost 100million pounds after their buy-to-let empire was hit by credit crunch.
