Arnie in Terminator: Salvation?

London (ANI): Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to reprise his role as a robot killing machine in the new Terminator movie, according to reports.

The action star-turned-California governor was recently photographed on the set of the McG-directed, Christian Bale-starring Terminator: Salvation, prompting speculation he is due to return to the hit franchise, reports the Daily Express.

Now online reports suggest the star will make a brief cameo at the end of the movie, playing his Terminator character. Earlier this year, director McG suggested Schwarzenegger could make a return to acting when asked if the politician would feature in the new film.

The Austrian-born star shot to fame playing the cyborg in 1984's Terminator and followed it up in 1991's Terminator 2: Judgment Day and 2003's Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
