Brendan Fraser honoured at ShoWest

Washington (ANI): Actor Brendan Fraser will be conferred with the distinguished achievement award at the ShoWest convention.The 39-year-old star will receive the Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film Award at this year's convention in Las Vegas, reports Variety.

ShoWest 2008 will run from March 10-13 at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas casinos. The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor actor who recently announced that he and his wife of nine years Afton Smith were divorcing, is reportedly dating actress and co-star Maria Bello.

"Brendan and Maria became tight because the shoot in China was challenging and Maria was a friendly face," an insider told the National Enquirer.
