Hoyts cinemas will hold blue carpet premieres in Sydney and Melbourne, and will screen the movie in selected cinemas around the country from November 2.

Thomas&Friends was first broadcast in 1984 and was created by the Rev W Awdry to keep his son entertained while bedridden with measles. Brosnan is not the only star who has lent his voice to the classic children's show, he follows in the footsteps of former Beatle Ringo Starr and actor Alec Baldwin.
