Singers sang for Barack Obama and Hollywood actors rallied behind him along with their fans. Today, this very man has been elected the 44th American President.

Barack Obama has created history by becoming the first African American President. And Hollywood celebrities did play a big role in his victory over his opponent John McCain. Some even went on to say that Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin was more of a celebrity.

Singers like John Mayer, Britney Spears, Jon Bon Jovi, Eminem, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Sheryl Crow, Beyonce Knowles and scores of others poured their voice for Obama. Hollywood actors who supported him includes Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Holly Madison, Gwyneth Paltrow, Dew Barrymore, Charlize Theron, Lindsay Lohan and the list goes on.
