Actress Celine Cawley (46), who acted in the James Bond film A View To A Kill starring Roger Moore, was found murdered at her Dublin home. The mother-of-one was attacked at her home and succumbed to the head injuries.

Eamonn Lillis found his wife unconscious on returning home after a morning walk. He chased the attacker, who was wearing a mask, but couldn't catch him. Celine succumbed to the injuries an hour later after the attack at the hospital. It is said that there was no sign of break-in and no weapon has been recovered from the spot but the police are confident that the murderer's DNA would be found in victim's fingernails.

Celine was a big name in media and advertising in Ireland. She started Toytown Films company in 1990 and transformed it into one of the most respected productions houses in the country.
