Washington (ANI): Popstar Christina Aguilera and actress Katie Holmes will co-star in a new film, 'Humboldt Park.' The shooting of the family drama will begin in February, just weeks after the 27-year-old singer is due to give birth to her first child, reports Contactmusic.

A source said: "(Holmes) is trying to prove she can do more than fluffy popcorn movies", and teaming up with Aguilera "shows she's willing to take risks". Recently, Aguilera revealed that she bought singer Ozzy Osbourne's Los Angeles mansion only because she fell in love with his kitchen after watching it on TV.

The singer hardly ever missed an episode of reality TV hit 'The Osbournes', and admitted that she craved for family scenes in the kitchen.
