New York (ANI): American actress Christina Hendricks' appearance on the red carpet in a plunging gown is said to have made more headlines than "Mad Men' which received the Best Drama prize at the Emmys. Hendricks was spotted flaunting off her twin assets and minute middle in a plunging green gown by Tadashi Shoji, which her stylist, Lawren Sample, describes as "really big boobs and an extremely small waistline." "Christina knows her figure," the New York Daily News quoted Shoji, the L.A.-based designer, as having commented upon seeing the actress in the plunging halter, from his fall-winter 2008 line.

"It takes confidence to wear this dress, and Christina has it," he had added. Hendricks had to go for a fitting four times over a month to perfect the retro, figure-hugging look of the dress. "The dress was an ode to Hollywood glamour," said Sample, who introduced her to Shoji''s designs.

"It''s nice to see that represented on the red carpet and not more stick figures. "She looked in the mirror and said she wanted to cry because the dress was so beautiful. "Unfortunately we didn''t get to see enough of her butt last [Sunday] night," she added.
