Disaster Movie voted the worst of all time

Wellington (ANI): Disaster Movie, a new spoof starring Carmen Electra, Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Minnillo, has been voted as The Worst Film Of All Time on the IMDb website. After the film was released in the U.S., it received a woeful rating by readers of the movie website, averaging just 1.2 out of a possible 10.

The rating sent Disaster Movie to the bottom of IMDB's all time rankings, making it the worst film ever made, reports the NZPA. Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the makers of the film, are also responsible for similar spoofs Epic Movie, Date Movie and Meet the Spartans.

The New York Times said that the film had a shelf life of five minutes 'which may be slightly longer than it took to come up with most of its gags'. On New Zealand website Flicks.co.nz, a poster called JayDee said the film was 'torture'.
