Washington (ANI): Hollywood hunk George Clooney has dismissed claims that he is advising Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. The 44-year-old actor insists that he would offer a million dollars to anyone who proves the claims.

"I have never texted or e-mailed Senator Obama," People quoted Clooney, as saying in a statement by publicist, Stan Rosenfield. And I'll offer a million dollars to anyone who could prove otherwise. In fact, I''ve only talked to the Senator once in the last year and a half. On the phone," he added.

According to reports, the Oscar-winning actor "frequently text messages the Illinois senator with whom he's been friends for many years."

"I've spent more time with Senator [John] McCain ... than I have with Senator Obama ...," said Clooney. "Although I support Senator Obama, I would never be dumb enough to offer policy advice to either candidate. They seem to be doing fine without me," he added.
