Gwyneth Paltrow to play obsessive lover

Washington (ANI): American actress Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she is able to relate to her role in the movie 'Two Lovers', as she was once obsessed with an ex-boyfriend. Paltrow, who is happily married to Coldplay star Chris Martin, plays the role of a woman who is obsessed with a married man, and the 35-year-old revealed how she was once was in just such a situation with an ex-boyfriend who disappeared for long periods of time.

"Mmm... yes I have (felt obsessive love). When I was younger I fell in love with someone. He wasn't married, but he was in to drugs. So he wasn't around when I needed him because of that," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"I became quite obsessed with why he didn't turn up when I wanted him to.I was raised by people who love me and I always felt good about myself, but I still got caught up - during that relationship - with thinking that he wasn't there because there was something wrong with me. "I just couldn't understand why things weren't working out," she added.
