Will Harrison Ford win atleast one Oscar?

However popular actor Harrison Ford may be, an Oscar Award is one award which is far far away from his grasp! But this does not bother the star as he feels that he does not need awards to be recognized as a fine actor. In his vast film career, Harrison Ford has got nominated for an academy award, only once for his 1986 blockbuster movie, 'Witness'.

At 65, the 'Indiana Jones' star has accepted the fact that he might end his career without taking the famous statuette in his hand. But the actor also feels that he does not mind and does not even care that he has not won an Academy Award. "The Oscar represents the respect of your peers. I respect the people I work with. I would rather earn their respect on the set day by day. That means more to me than an award", states Ford.
