New
York
(ANI):
Anne
Hathaway
has
finally
opened
up
about
her
'heartbreaking'
split
from
Raffaello
Follieri,
confessing
that
she
was
in
'shock'
when
she
heard
her
Italian
boyfriend
was
arrested
on
fraud
charges.
The
Rachel
Getting
Married
star
ditched
her
30-year-old
beau
in
June
-
just
before
his
arrest
for
alleged
wire
fraud
and
money
laundering.
"As
soon
as
I
found
out
about
the
arrest,
I
had
to
get
on
a
plane
to
Mexico
to
do
a
press
tour
for
'Get
Smart,'
" the
New
York
Daily
News
quoted
her,
as
telling
W
magazine.
"And
then
I
spent
a
week
in
shock
at
a
friend's
house.
It's
a
situation
where
the
rug
was
pulled
out
from
under
me
all
of
a
sudden.
But
just
as
suddenly,
my
friends
threw
another
rug
back
under
me.
One
said,
'Go
stay
at
my
house',"
she
added.
Hathaway
praised
her
friends
for
their
'kindness' during
the
tough
time,
adding,
'not
everyone
gets
that.
A
lot
of
people
go
through
tough
times
alone.'
Although
she
admits
she's
still
not
over
the
split,
Hathaway
says
she
plans
to
'start
focusing
again'
in
the
fall.
"Right
now,
I
need
to
be
me
for
a
little
bit,"
she
added.
