Jackie Chan's charitable visit to Henan

New Delhi (ANI): Jackie Chan has made his first trip to the central Chinese province of Henan a memorable one by making it a charitable event. The Hong Kong star, who arrived in the city of Xinxiang on October 14, donated items from his personal collection for a fund raising auction including a T-shirt he designed, and a CD of his Olympic songs.

According to CRIENGLISH.com, the proceeds of the event that raised 373,314 dollars shall be donated to the 'Dragon's Heart' children's centre that looks after education and rehabilitation facilities of mentally handicapped children.

The actor made a charitable visit to the centre and spent time playing games with the kids, reports China Daily.

Initiated in 2004, Chan's Dragon's Heart project has funded buildings of 21 schools across China, according to its website.
