Jade Goody robbed of jewels worth 56000 pounds

London (ANI): Jade Goody, who was in the news for making racial comments against Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty in the reality show Celebrity Big Brother, has been robbed of jewels worth 56,000 pounds. The 27-year-old reality TV celeb's house was ransacked for the third time, with thieves walking away with expensive jewels.

The jewels stolen included a bangle decorated with 18 separate diamonds, five designer watches, rings and a Tiffany necklace and earring set. The mother of two came to know about the break-in after hearing a noise and racing upstairs with her dog Batman. "I went to investigate with Batman but no one was there," The Sun quoted her as saying.

"I dread to think what would have happened if the thieves had still been in the house. "I'm just glad my two boys weren't at home," she added. One of the Goody's friend revealed that her bedroom was a mess with stuff strewn all over the place. There were also muddy footprints everywhere," the friend added.
