Jamie Lynn's show might be scrapped

London (ANI): The Nickelodeon show starring Britney Spears pregnant sister Jamie Lynn has been canned, according to reports. Jamie Lynn, 16, who recently announced that she is expecting a baby with boyfriend Casey Aldridge, plays the lead in teen school drama Zoey 101, which caters to kids aged nine to 14.

Sources say that though the fourth and final season has already been filmed, bosses are still unsure about airing the show. “Nickelodeon bosses are still undecided whether to air season four or not. For now it looks like it has been canned," The Sun quoted a source, as saying. Earlier, the channel said that Jamie Lynn"s pregnancy would not affect the scheduling of the sitcom , as the shooting of the show wrapped up in August.

Nickelodeon made it clear that the show will continue in its normal Sunday timeslot, with new episodes running into the New Year. "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being," the channel said at the time.
