The body of the young Julian King had been identified by Hudson and her sister after the police found it in the back seat of a SUV parked across the street on Chicago's West Side on October 27. Though the motive behind the slayings remained unclear yet the officials revealed they believed them to arise from domestic abuse.
"It wasn't a case of a stranger-type homicide," the New York Daily quoted Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis as saying. The police had taken William Balfour, the estranged husband of Hudson's sister, into custody as a prime suspect though none has been charged for the killings. The 27-year-old, who bagged the runner-up title on American Idol, had announced 100,000 dollars for information regarding her nephew's safe return.
