London
(ANI):
Although
Jennifer
Aniston
and
ex-husband
Brad
Pitt
hogged
all
the
limelight
at
this
year's
Toronto
Film
Festival,
the
Friends
actress
fails
to
understand
why
the
media
is
so
interested
in
her
private
life.
Though
Aniston
and
Pitt
never
really
crossed
paths
with
each
other,
the
media
was
hogging
the
pair
hoping
for
a
reunion.
The
Troy
actor
was
there
to
promote
his
film
Burn
After
Reading
where
he
plays
a
dim-witted
gym
instructor,
while
Jen
was
promoting
romantic
comedy
Management,
in
which
she
plays
a
travelling
saleswoman.
The
39-year-old
actress,
who
was
recently
left
heart-broken
after
her
split
with
country
star
John
Mayer,
said
she
couldn't
quite
understand
why
the
media
was
so
interested
in
her
private
life.
"I
have
no
idea,
I
have
absolutely
no
idea.
I
ask
that
all
the
time," BBC
quoted
the
actress,
as
saying.
Being
under
the
media
scrutiny
for
issues
ranging
right
from
her
salary,
boyfriends,
domestic
life
and
desire
for
children,
Jen
still
maintains
that
she
was
not
fazed
by
being
in
the
public
eye.
In
fact,
she
claimed
that
her
agenda
was
to
be
disciplined,
to
sell
her
film
in
the
midst
of
media
scrutiny.
"My
priority
is
my
job
and
my
work
and
doing
it
to
the
best
of
my
ability.
So
that's
where
I
focus
my
attention,
doing
it
as
well
I
can," she
said.
Aniston
and
Pitt
divorced
in
2005.
