Joan Cusack signs Confessions of a Shopaholic

Washington (ANI): Joan Cusack and John Goodman have signed on to join Isla Fisher in the cast of 'Confessions of a Shopaholic'. The Touchstone Pictures' movie is based on the bestselling novel by Sophie Kinsella. It revolves around a woman, to be played by Fisher, who must deal with the stresses of mounting credit card debt while trying to navigate the New York magazine world.

Goodman and Cusack will play the parents of Fisher's character in the movie that also stars Hugh Dancy and Krysten Ritter, reports Variety. P.J. Hogan is directing, and Jerry Bruckheimer is on board as producer. The movie is lensing in New York and Connecticut.
