Washington
(ANI):
More
than
a
year
after
her
mother's
death,
Angelina
Jolie
has
finally
sold
the
California
house
Marcheline
Bertrand
called
home.
Bertrand
lost
her
battle
with
ovarian
cancer
January
2007
at
the
age
of
56,
and
pals
claimed
that
Jolie
had
since
struggled
to
let
go
of
the
pad,
which
was
full
of
memories.
A
source
told
the
National
Enquirer
that
though
the
actress
had
been
urged
to
sell
the
place,
she
had
been
unable
to
do
so
until
now,
reports
Contactmusic
quoted.
"They
were
incredibly
close.
Marcheline
was
an
actress
as
well,
and
responsible
for
getting
Angelina
involved
in
film," the
source
said.
"She
had
been
urged
to
sell
the
place
by
family
and
friends,
but
wanted
to
hold
on
to
one
of
the
last
things
she
could
touch
or
feel
of
her
mother's
spirit.
"Finally,
after
more
than
a
year,
she
tearfully
let
it
go,"
the
source
added.
Pregnant
Jolie
recently
admitted
that
she
and
partner
Brad
Pitt
would
be
welcoming
twins
into
the
family.
However,
she
refused
to
reveal
whether
the
babies
would
be
boys
or
girls.
