Kate Beckinsale thought her bum was too fat

New York (ANI): Actress Kate Beckinsale has demanded a body double for her latest film 'Whiteout' because she feels self-conscious about her bottom's size, it has emerged. The slim star, 34, allegedly refused to bare her derriere while shooting a shower scene in the new movie, which forced the film's producers to hire a 2,000 dollars a-day model to stand in for the star.

"Kate has a terrible self-image," the New York Daily News quoted a source, as saying. "She thinks she is fat and she is always complaining how certain outfits make her bottom look big. Of course, the reality is that she has the most amazing body," the source added.

Beckinsale plays a U.S. marshal tracking a killer through Antarctica in the film, set for a September release.
