Kelsey Grammer reprises Scrooge role

Washington (ANI): Kelsey Grammer has signed on to play Ebenezer Scrooge in David Zucker's satire An American Carol. This will be the second time Grammer has played Scrooge, the first time being in the NBC-Hallmark production of A Christmas Carol in 2004.

An American Carol is a satire of contemporary American culture, particularly the Hollywood, reports Variety. Zucker wrote the screenplay with Myrna Sokoloff and will finance the film with Stephen McEveety. Production for the film is scheduled to start Feb 28 on location in Los Angeles.
