Lindsay Lohan is not lesbian: mom

Washington (ANI): Lindsay Lohan's mom and sister have dismissed rumours that the troubled starlet is a lesbian, insisting that such stories are completely a piece of fiction. It was reported that the 'Mean Girls' star shares a romantic relationship with pal Samantha Ronson. Now Dina and Ali Lohan have spoken about the lesbian gossip doing the rounds.

While promoting her new reality show, 'Living Lohan', the duo said that the rumour is just the latest in the long line of silly stories the press fire at the family. "Samantha's an amazing girl," Contactmusic quoted Dina, as telling TV show Extra. On the other hand Ali added: "They're best friends. They're just friends. It's pathetic what people say."

Dina further explained: "It's so silly. We actually laugh about it now. It really does hurt... but you develop a thick skin. You have to ignore it."
