Mayer trying to impress Aniston's parents

London (ANI): Things sure are getting serious between actress Jennifer Aniston and singer John Mayer, for the couple shared a meal with the actress' parents, according to reports. Aniston and Mayer went along with father John Aniston and his wife Sherry Rooney at the exclusive Beverly Hills' Polo Lounge restaurant.

"Throughout the whole of the dinner, Jennifer and John couldn't keep their hands off each other. Jennifer was constantly rubbing his hair and John was rubbing her back, then every so often they would steal a kiss," The Sun quoted a source, as saying. "They both looked very happy and very much in love," the source added.

After sharing a salad and fish entree with the Friends star, the singer tried to impress TV actor John and his wife with his musical knowledge. The source said: "John spent a lot of time talking about his music philosophies why certain decades have better music. He discussed his experiences with Aretha Franklin and made a joke about Tom Hanks."
