MTV hosting Obama's Inaugural Ball

London (ANI): MTV will celebrate the success of U.S. President-Elect Barack Obama's campaign in achieving large youth voter turnout by hosting his Inaugural Ball. Making an announcement in this respect on Tuesday, the network said that it would host the 'Be the Change Inaugural Ball' at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Centre in Washington on January 20.
The event would be broadcast live on MTV.com and on the network's various channels, and would feature "leading artists, celebrities and government officials," reports the Telegraph. MTV's announcement comes as a host of organisations are planning inaugural balls in Washington, where more than a million people are expected to be drawn to the country's capital for the occasion.

The network will join ServiceNation, a non-profit organisation that promotes community service, in co-hosting the Inaugural Ball.
