Olga Kurylenko accused of 'betraying' Soviet

London (ANI): The Communists in USSR have accused new Bond girl Olga Kurylenko of 'betraying' the Soviet people in the new 007 flick Quantum of Solace. The Communist Party of St Petersburg has condemned the Ukrainian actress, who plays Bond's sidekick in the latest Bond adventure, for aiding 'the killer of hundreds of Soviet people and their allies'.

Despite the fictional nature of the film, the party blamed the sultry beauty of assisting 'a man who worked for decades under the orders of Thatcher and Reagan to destroy the USSR'. The party appealed to the actress on its website.

"The Soviet Union educated you, cared for you and brought you up for free but no one suspected that you would commit this act of intellectual and moral betrayal," Times Online quoted them as saying on the website.

The Communists of St Petersburg, or Leningrad have a history of taking a snipe at perfidious Western films.
