Oprah Winfrey named 36th most powerful woman

Washington (ANI): Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has been named the 36th most powerful woman in the world in a new 'Forbes' magazine list down 15 spots from last year's position. In 2007, the star was 21st on the list, reports Contactmusic.

Other celebrities to make it onto the top 100 include U.S. broadcasters Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer, at numbers 63 and 65 respectively. German Chancellor Angela Merkel topped the new list.
