Patrick Swayze and wife Lisa renew wedding vows

Washington (ANI): Cancer-stricken movie star Patrick Swayze and wife Lisa Niemi have renewed their marriage vows, say sources. The couple flew to their New Mexico ranch to exchange vows before a small group of close friends.

The Ghost star was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the beginning of 2008, and is fighting for his life. Swayze and Niemi will celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary on 12 June and the actor is determined to live up to that date and beyond.

"He is refusing to give up, but right now he's living for today," Contactmusic quoted a source, as saying. The source insists the renewed wedding vows were very special for the couple. "It was very important to him (Swayze) to express his love and commitment to Lisa. They both mean the world to one another," he added
