Russell Crowe to step into Ledger's shoes

Actor Russell Crowe is reportedly set to star in Aussie director Phillip Noyce directed movie Dirty Music. The role was assigned to late legend Heath Ledger before his death. It is said that now the actor is in talks to play the role.

Dirt Music is an adaptation of the Tim Winton novel. The movie deals with a loveless relationship in a remote Australian town.

The Gladiator star is now playing apposite Sienna Miller in Sheriff of Nottingham.
