Johansson, Reynolds get engaged

London (ANI): Wedding bells are to ring soon for actress Scarlett Johansson and her actor beau Ryan Reynolds. And, the news of the couple's engagement has been confirmed by her rep, who said that Johansson and Reynolds are over the moon. "They're both thrilled," The Sun quoted the rep, as saying. The actors have been dating since February 2007, shortly after Reynolds broke off his engagement to singer Alanis Morissette.

They made their first appearance as an engaged couple at New York's Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala on Monday, May 5. Johansson and Reynolds now join a list of celebs intending to wed, including Jessica Alba and boyfriend Cash Warren, Nicole Ritchie and singer Joel Madden and singers Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz.
