Salman Rushdie has no romance

Washington (ANI): Sir Salman Rushdie has slammed rumours that he is dating American athlete Aimee Mullins. The British author has ruled out a relationship with the 31-year-old star by revealing she already has a boyfriend. The 60-year-old Rushdie also confessed that he is tired of denying romances since his marriage to TV presenter Padma Lakshmi ended last year.

"Only a couple of months ago I was in love with Carrie Fisher apparently. Before that I was having an affair with a Bollywood actress," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying. "Aimee is a dear friend of mine and so is her boyfriend," he added.
