Sam proposes Lindsay with 50k diamond ring

New Delhi (ANI): Samantha Ronson has reportedly popped the question to lover Lindsay Lohan with a 50,000 pound Cartier diamond band. While the duo were holidaying in Mexico, the DJ made the proposal. Lohan is said to have been ecstatic when her girlfriend surprised her with the hidden ring inside a covered silver tray as the two were having dinner by the beach in Cabo San Lucas, reports China Daily.

"Sam brought Lindsay down at 9pm to a huge dining table laid out by the water's edge," a source told Britain's Star magazine. "Sam really went all out and even arranged for a group of Mexican singers to entertain them with songs. "It was a gorgeous ring with a big diamond that Sam had bought before the holiday.

"Sam asked her if she would marry her and the waiter popped a champagne cork as Lindsay accepted. "It was such a beautiful setting with perfect weather and was really romantic." Lohan, 22, admitted that she did not care about what people thought of her relationship since she was 'happy' with Ronson. She said: "People can think what they want. I'm really happy, and that's all that matters. She's a really great person."
