Sean Bean resists rough tough image

Washington (ANI): Lord of the Rings star Sean Bean has revealed that he is actually a softhearted person. The British actor does not like being portrayed as the Hollywood hard man, as he says he is in reality a "mild-mannered" person. Sean insists that he is a sensitive actor, who is interested in things like wildlife and poetry, and that he hates being viewed as a tough guy.

"There's a common misconception that I am a tough, rough northerner, but I'm pretty mild-mannered most of the time," Contactmusic quoted him as saying. "It's the parts you play, I guess. I'm not a tough guy. It would probably surprise people to know that I'm interested in wildlife. I read a lot of poetry too," he added.

Sean Bean met his long time love after he sent a text message to the wrong person. The Lord Of The Rings star was trying to get in touch with his assistant when his finger slipped on his mobile phone and the message was sent instead to Georgina Sutcliffe. "I'd come back from filming in Toronto and was trying to contact my assistant Chris but sent the message to Georgina instead," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"I got a message back and thought, 'Why's that bird (girl) texting me?' It all took off from there," he said. News is that 48-year-old Sean will make Sutcliffe, 29, his fourth wife later this year (08).
