bought
the
international
distribution
rights
to
the
new
Terminator
movie.
Sony
Pictures
Worldwide
Acquisitions
Group
inked
a
deal
with
the
film's
producers,
Victor
Kubicek
and
Derek
Anderson
of
the
Halcyon
Co.,
in
which
it
gets
distribution
rights
to
all
foreign
countries
except
for
Korea
and
some
Middle
East
nations.

Sony
distribution
team
is
really
energized
by
this
opportunity
to
work
with
Victor
and
Derek
at
the
Halcyon
Co.
in
continuing
our
involvement
with
the
Terminator
series," Hollywood
Reporter
quoted
Peter
Schlessel,
president
of
worldwide
affairs
at
Sony,
as
saying.
Warner
Bros.
is
handling
U.S.
and
Canadian
distribution
rights
for
the
film.
Batman
Begins
star
Christian
Bale
will
be
joining
Sam
Worthington
in
Terminator
Salvation:
The
Future
Begins.
Worthington
is
taking
over
Arnold
Schwarzenegger"s
famous
role
as
the
Terminator
in
the
new
pic.
The
production
is
scheduled
to
begin
in
April
(08)
in
New
Mexico
and
is
due
to
hit
cinemas
in
2009.
