Academy Award winning director Sydney Pollack passed away yesterday at his Los Angeles residence. The director most famous for film Tootsie in which he directed Dustin Hoffman and the 1986 drama Out Of Africa. The veteran was diagnosed with cancer nine months ago. He produced films too and and occasionally made a small presence onscreen.
