New
York
(ANI):
Money
certainly
is
no
criteria
for
Tom
Cruise
and
Katie
Holmes
when
it
comes
to
celebrating
their
kids'
special
days,
for
the
couple
just
spent
a
whopping
100,000
dollars
on
their
daughter
Suri's
second
birthday.
Suri's
birthday
bash
not
only
saw
the
little
one
blowing
out
candles
on
a
four-tier
polka-dot
cake
topped
with
yellow
and
white
sugar
butterflies,
but
also
watching
in
wonder
as
1,000
butterflies
live
flew
around
her.
The
Cruises'
also
had
24
designer
cakes
made
bearing
each
of
the
guests'
names,
and
made
sure
the
invitees
left
with
a
full
stomach
after
spending
45,000
dollars
in
food
from
family
friend
Wolfgang
Puck,
according
to
In
Touch
magazine.
"They're
very
specific
about
what
they
like," the
New
York
Daily
News
quoted
baker
to
the
stars
Jane
Lockhart,
whose
Sweet
Lady
Jane
Bakery
in
West
Hollywood
made
the
cakes,
as
saying.
"They
wanted
(Suri's)
cake
to
look
simple
and
childlike
so
they
designed
it
themselves,
which
was
kind
of
interesting.
They
brought
in
photos
they
had
seen
of
butterflies
and
other
cakes."
The
two
dozen
cakes
for
the
guests
were
shaped
like
hats,
and
included
a
butterfly
and
daisy
on
the
brim
along
with
the
guest's
name.
Apart
from
this,
Cruise
and
Holmes
also
ordered
dozens
of
super-chic
cupcakes
in
flavors
ranging
from
chai
latte
to
lemon
coconut
from
Beverly
Hills-based
Sprinkles,
for
around
200
dollars
