Oprah excited over Obama's nomination win

Washington (ANI): Oprah Winfrey is over the moon now that Barack Obama has claimed the Democratic presidential nomination. In fact, she is so overjoyed she has literally been doing 'the happy dance all day'. "I'm euphoric, I've been doing the happy dance all day," E! Online quoted her, as saying in a statement.

She also reveals that she would be ready to go door to door for Obama. "I'm so proud of Barack and Michelle and what this means for all of us...the new possibilities for our country. And if he wants me to, I'm ready to go door to door," she said. Obama was the first time she publicly made such an endorsement.

She not only held a fundraiser for him on September 8, 2007 at her Santa Barbara, CA estate, but in December 2007, joined the Illinois senator for a series of rallies in the early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.
