"I was reluctant to strip off for Vanity Fair," Winslet

Washington (ANI): Hollywood actress Kate Winslet has said that she had reservations about stripping off for Vanity Fair. The 'Hamlet' actress revealed that it was not until she was told that photographer Steven Meisel, the man behind Madonna's Sex book, will be clicking her that she convinced herself to bare all for the magazine.

Winslet revealed that before the shoot she cringed a bit, but soon realized that she had landed once in a lifetime opportunity to pose for a great picture with a great photographer.

"It's a fantastic opportunity just to be able to have that memory in your lifetime. I absolutely had a moment of thinking, I don't believe I'm gonna take my clothes off here, and the next moment I thought, Yeah, dammit, I am; I'm 43, I've had two kids, Steven Meisel is taking pictures of me naked. This is never gonna happen again!" Contactmusic quoted Winslet, as saying.

"I transported myself 30 years on and I wanted to be able to say, Yeah, I did that. That was one of those crazy, wonderful things and I'm really happy to have that memory," the beauty said. The actress said that while at the end of it all she was content with the way her pictures turned out. "I have the prints from the shoot that Steven gave me at the end of the day that were taken out of the camera and were blown up. I will tell you the only thing they re-touched was my skin tone," she added.
