Sophie Anderton blames child sex abuse for drugs

London, (ANI): British model and reality TV star Sophie Anderton has accepted to drug charges, days after she was caught snorting cocaine on camera and has blamed the drug habit on her child sex abuse.

The 32-year-old, who admitted to having spent nearly 100,000 pounds on coke, has also confessed resorting to prostitution for 15,000 pounds a night to get money for drugs.

"This is the truth, warts and all. For a short while I sold my body for a lot of money. I am not proud of it... In the summer of 2004 I was drinking a bottle of vodka a night and using cocaine by day. The coke ran out, my cash card was rejected and my dealer was ringing up demanding payments. I knew I desperately needed money – now," she was quoted saying.

The Daily Star quoted Anderton as saying: “I was inappropriately touched up when I was eight. Only now am I starting to realise it wasn't my fault."
