Brad Pitt takes on superhero Metro Man role

Washington (ANI): Actor Brad Pitt will voice the character of a superhero 'Metro Man' in a new animated movie Oobermind, which features Will Ferrell in the title role of a supervillain. Pitt says that he is doing the movie for the enjoyment of partner Angelina Jolie and his kids.

Talking to Ann Curry On Tuesday's Today show, Brad Pitt said, "It's something [my kids] will enjoy and think dad is cool," Replying to a question whether his character is autobiographical, he said, "It's really not, but it sounded good...."

The animated movie Oobermind is directed by Tom McGrath and produced by The Dreamworks Animation. Along with Brad Pitt, Will Ferrell and Jonah Hill will also play the lead roles in the movie. It is a satirical take on superhero movies, in which a notorious villain loses his oomph after he accidentally kills his nemesis.
