Michael Caine's son-in-law sued over property deal

Washington (ANI): Brit actor Sir Michael Caine"s son-in-law has been sued by one of his former pals for failing to pay him a cut of a big-money property deal. Businessman Michael Hall, who is the husband of Caine's daughter Natasha, was issued the lawsuit by Edward Kay, an ex business associate, reports Contactmusic.

In the suit, Kay alleges that he is owed money for introducing Hall to rich investors. The investors helped finance a luxury gated-community which Hall"s company, Obsidian, built in Uruguay.

Kay claims the pair's friendship soured in 2006, but Hall promised he would still be paid a share of the profits for bringing in the investors - agreeing a pay-off of 613,500 dollars. But Kay insists Hall has only paid him 396,000 dollars - and is suing for the remaining amount of 280,500 dollars.
