Charlie Sheen banned from contacting wife

London, (ANI): Charlie Sheen has received a restraining order that bans him from contacting his wife following his arrest on Christmas Day for alleged domestic violence. Police had collared the 'Two and a Half Men" star after a row with wife Brooke Mueller. A friend of the couple claims they were having a boozy dinner at a friend"s house when “things got out of hand".

Charlie spent about 10 hours locked up on Christmas Day after being arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief. He was released after posting 5,300 pound bail, but the district judge had issued a restraining order stopping him from contacting Brooke unless it is through his lawyer.

“They are both deeply upset about what happened and are trying to work things out amicably," the Daily Express quoted the actor"s manager Mark Burg as telling entertainment website RadarOnline.
